We are looking for a Software Engineer (Java + Oracle) to develop and maintain high-performance backend systems while supporting and maintaining existing database logic and data structures. You will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to system design, building scalable solutions, and ensuring reliable integration with data storage and messaging systems in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the software engineering role
  • Excellent knowledge of Java SE (21+)
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle (11g), confident performance optimization experience
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, MVC, Data, etc. (3+)
  • Experience in developing high-load data processing systems
  • Experience with ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate)
  • Understanding of ESB (Kafka preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in financial, investment, or trading companies
  • Good knowledge of data structures, architectural patterns
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB)
  • Experience with Cloud Native Environment (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with SOA and microservices
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a feature development team and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and tests
  • Review current components, suggesting updates as needed
  • Write and utilize technical change documentation
  • Remain up-to-date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments
