About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer IV for a 24+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This role will join a technology team supporting credit services initiatives, playing a critical part in building and enhancing scalable data-driven applications within the credit services domain. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on lead, designing and developing full-stack applications with a focus on scalability and performance.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering
• Lead experience with the ability to be hands-on while leading a small team
• Strong Java backend development experience
• Hands-on experience with Angular for front-end development
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer
• Experience working with Oracle databases
• Strong understanding of SDLC, APIs, and modern development frameworks

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Ab Initio
• Experience within financial services, specifically credit services or consumer data platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise data environments and large-scale systems
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications with a focus on scalability and performance
• Build robust Java-based backend services and APIs
• Develop responsive and user-friendly Angular front-end applications
• Work with Oracle databases for data processing and integration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and business stakeholders
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement of development practices
