About The Position

Beast Code fosters a collaborative work environment where thinking outside the box is encouraged, but teamwork is preferred. This role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications throughout their lifecycle using standard frameworks and source control tools. Responsibilities include breaking down requirements, ensuring scalability and maintainability of the codebase, and identifying/adopting new technologies. The role also involves indirectly assisting other team members by ensuring QA has necessary tools, design creates technically sound mockups, and product owners understand the technical state of the product. Familiarity with technologies such as HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript/Typescript, Vue, Vite/Webpack, Python, C# .NET, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or SQL is expected.

Requirements

Familiarity with code management tools (e.g. GitHub, GitLab, SVN, Mercurial, etc.) and strategies (e.g. Branching Patterns, CI/CD).
Experience with breaking down requirements from interactive mockups, wireframes, technical specifications, bug reports, or requests from different dev teams.
Experience using standard frameworks and source control tools.
Experience researching novel and existing solutions using a variety of resources.
Keeping current with software development industry standards/trends.
Experience designing and documenting high level solutions for the deployment of custom-built cloud/edge applications.
Experience with platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Azure or Google Cloud Platforms.
Experienced with full-stack development using .NET RESTful backend services, PostgreSQL databases, and Vue 3 with TypeScript.
Comfortable working with .NET/C# to setup and maintain a back-end server with authentication, authorization, and database connections.
Understand, and are comfortable with, the basics of SQL databases.
Comfortable working with deployment programming languages (e.g. Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, Helm).
Currently hold or have eligibility to obtain and maintain the proper US DoW issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Successfully complete background check.
Maintain a valid USA driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Mentoring other Software Engineers.
Collaboration inside and outside of the organization.
