About The Position

This role is crucial for supporting the growing user base and developing new projects to advance Speechify's mission. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, thrive in fast-paced environments, be passionate about product decisions, and have a proven ability to build delightful user experiences. Requirements

• Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
• Track record of working on various products from inception to decent traction, with responsibility for engineering the product
• Customer obsession: constantly obsessed about providing the best possible experience for customers
• Product thinking: make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and support internal teams and designers
• Speed: work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time
• Focus: ability to engage or be heads down as needed in a busy, remote startup environment
• Swift Programming Language
• SwiftUI experience
• Experience in Multithreading Programming
• Working with CI/CD infrastructure
• Experience with Fastlane
• SOLID principles, the ability to write every single class according to SOLID
• Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead key engineering and product decisions
• Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
• Work within a dedicated product team
• Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
• Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture
