About The Position
Speechify is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support its growing iOS app user base and contribute to new projects. This role is ideal for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys making product decisions, and has experience building delightful user experiences. Requirements
- Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
- Track record of working on various products from inception to decent traction
- Responsibility for engineering products
- Customer obsession: constantly obsessed about providing the best possible experience for customers
- Product thinking: make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and support internal teams and designers
- Speed: work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time
- Focus: know how and when to engage or be heads down in a busy, remote startup environment
- Swift Programming Language
- SwiftUI experience
- Experience in Multithreading Programming
- Working with CI/CD infrastructure
- Experience with Fastlane
- SOLID principles, the ability to write every single class according to SOLID
- Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies
Responsibilities
- Lead key engineering and product decisions
- Actively ship production code for the Speechify iOS app
- Work within a dedicated product team
- Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
- Maintain and enhance the existing complex app architecture
