About The Position

Speechify is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to support its growing user base and work on new projects to advance its mission of making reading accessible for learning. This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys making product decisions, and has experience building excellent user experiences. Speechify is a flat organization that values technical skill, consistent results, strong work ethic, clear communication, and a drive to win. The interview process is designed to be completed within one week and involves several technical interviews.

Requirements

Experience working on products that scaled to a large user base
Track record of working on various products from inception to decent traction, with responsibility for engineering the product
Customer obsession: constantly obsessed about providing the best possible experience
Product thinking: make thoughtful decisions about product evolution and support internal teams and designers
Speed: work quickly to generate ideas and decide what can ship now versus what needs more time
Focus: ability to know how and when to engage or be heads down in a busy, remote startup environment
Swift Programming Language
SwiftUI experience
Experience in Multithreading Programming
Working with CI/CD infrastructure
Experience with Fastlane
SOLID principles, the ability to write every single class according to SOLID
Experience with Git and understanding of different Git strategies
