About The Position

Easy Dynamics is seeking highly motivated interns who are passionate about building, automating, and learning modern cloud and software engineering practices. Interns will be working within Easy Dynamics Growth & Excellence (EDGE) Labs, our innovation-focused engineering organization dedicated to building reusable, production-grade solutions that accelerate secure technology delivery. As an EDGE Labs Intern, you will contribute to innovation initiatives focused on automation, cloud platforms, AI-assisted development, DevSecOps, and compliance-as-code. You will work alongside senior engineers and technical leads in an Agile environment, contributing to reusable solutions that support multi-cloud architectures (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern CI/CD pipelines. This is a hands-on, engineering-focused internship, not observational or academic. Certification Opportunities Certifications are a key part of the EDGE Labs experience. Interns will be expected to dedicate time and effort to pursuing credentials that are highly valued in cloud and DevSecOps careers: Cloud Fundamentals - Azure Fundamentals or an equivalent AWS/GCP foundational certification, targeted within your first two weeks HashiCorp Terraform Associate - targeted within your first 30 days Additional cloud certifications across Azure, AWS, and GCP may be pursued based on intern interests and project focus. These credentials support your professional development and potential full-time opportunities at Easy Dynamics.

Requirements

  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Strong foundational programming skills in one or more languages such as Python, Java, C#, or similar
  • Familiarity with APIs and data formats (REST, JSON)
  • Comfort working in Linux-based or cloud environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Experience or strong interest in Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
  • Familiarity with Git-based version control and collaborative development workflows
  • Interest in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automation frameworks
  • Understanding of Agile software development practices
  • Exposure to containers, serverless computing, or microservices architectures
  • Interest in security, compliance, and policy-driven automation
  • Curiosity about AI-assisted software development, including code generation, testing, and analysis
  • Desire to build reusable modules and platforms, not just one-off applications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior engineers, technical leads, and engineering stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into reusable technical solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to the design, development, and documentation of reusable cloud modules, automation pipelines, and supporting libraries
  • Develop and test code using modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development under senior engineer guidance
  • Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines supporting automated testing, security validation, and deployment
  • Support infrastructure-as-code (IaC) development and cloud foundational services
  • Assist with security and compliance automation, including validation and technical documentation
  • Perform functional, security, and quality testing to identify bugs, vulnerabilities, and inefficiencies
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality coding and documentation standards
  • Provide regular updates on progress, accomplishments, and learnings to EDGE Labs leadership
