About The Position
SAIC is seeking a rising college senior for a Software Engineering internship position within the Ground-Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Services (GMASS) for the summer of 2026. The intern will perform software support using C++ or Linux to resolve coding errors and assist in developing and updating code. All positions under this job requisition will be located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Requirements
- Rising college senior
- Experience with C++ or Linux
- Familiarity with software systems engineering and coding (Python, Java, C, C++)
- Knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML)
- Understanding of system data structures and algorithms (sorting, linked lists, arrays, trees)
- Experience with databases (SQL)
- Familiarity with debugging tools
- Experience with Atlassian Tools (Jira/Confluence)
- Experience with Gitlab/Git Command Line
Responsibilities
- Work side-by-side with subject matter experts to review and resolve coding errors and develop new code
- Review and assess requirements, diagrams, and documents
- Develop modeling and simulation using MATLAB and STK
- Support Agile PI Planning events
