About The Position

CoBank interns gain practical experience in their chosen fields, acting as integral members of their teams throughout the summer. They develop business acumen and contribute to various projects impacting the bank's operations. A key component of the internship is the completion of a capstone project designed to add value to the host team. This role is hybrid, requiring interns to be in the designated office at least 3 days a week. Interns are expected to work approximately 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in and working towards Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.
In good academic standing.
Expected graduation dates between December 2027 and May 2029.
Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

Assist with a variety of projects that have an impact on the bank’s operations.
Complete a capstone project that will seek to add value to the team they are supporting.
Design, develop, and maintain applications that power CoBank's business operations and customer experiences (Full Stack Software Engineering).
Work across the entire technology stack, building user interfaces, developing backend services, integrating systems, and delivering scalable technology solutions (Full Stack Software Engineering).
Build and manage enterprise data platforms that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making (Data Engineering & AI).
Develop data pipelines, support enterprise data architecture, and advance artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities (Data Engineering & AI).
Provide the technology foundation that supports CoBank's applications and systems (DevOps / Platform Engineering / Infrastructure).
Focus on cloud infrastructure, automation, application deployment, platform reliability, enterprise systems, and security (DevOps / Platform Engineering / Infrastructure).
Deliver the tools, support, and technology experiences that enable employees to perform their best work (Tech Services & End User Technology).
Manage end-user devices, collaboration platforms, technology support services, and workplace technologies (Tech Services & End User Technology).
Partner closely with engineering and business stakeholders to deliver technology solutions that create meaningful value for users (Product, Agile, UX, and Transformation Functions).
Help define product strategy, improve user experiences, facilitate agile delivery practices, and drive organizational transformation initiatives (Product, Agile, UX, and Transformation Functions).
