Software Engineer Intern
About The Position
This internship focuses on Embedded Software and Firmware development for Ground-Based Radio Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS), Surveillance Radios (ADS-B/WAM), and other systems. Interns will support the full development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, integration, validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. A key responsibility will be creating automated testing for product manufacturing, which involves controlling automated test equipment, environmental chambers, and built-in test systems. Interns will also participate in design reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal processes.

Responsibilities
- Embedded Software and Firmware development for Ground-Based Radio Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS), Surveillance Radios (ADS-B/WAM), and other systems.
- Support Embedded Software & Firmware development through requirements gathering, design, coding, integration (software, firmware, and hardware), validation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Create automated testing for product manufacturing including controlling automated test equipment, environmental chambers, and built-in test.
- Participate in design review process to ensure adherence to customer requirements and internal processes are being met.
