About The Position

As an intern at Salesforce, you'll influence the future of our products, platform, and AI-powered experiences. Requirements

  • Enrolled and currently pursuing a BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Returning to school after Summer 2027 to complete your degree.
  • Enrolled in a college or university in North America.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming/design, algorithms, and data structures and how to efficiently implement them into a solution.
  • Hands-on experience or strong curiosity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) and an eagerness to integrate them into real-world engineering workflows.
  • A budding AI-first mindset — comfortable experimenting with prompting techniques and leveraging AI to learn across the stack, ramp up quickly, and contribute meaningfully from day one.
  • Strong understanding of CS fundamentals and practical coding application.
  • Team player with demonstrated collaboration skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using and critically reviewing code and artifacts generated by large language model (LLM) coding assistants and agentic tools.
  • Ability to effectively guide AI tools to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience using Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini or other agent-based frameworks.
  • Coursework in SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Proficiency in Java, Javascript and related frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and web technologies.
  • Knowledge of front end and back end languages.
  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and visual.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Experience using telemetry and metrics to drive operational excellence.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
