About The Position
We are seeking highly motivated Software Engineering Intern s to join our dynamic engineering team. At Arrowstreet, proprietary systems enable our investment research and power our portfolio construction, trade execution and account management functions. Requirements
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program studying computer science or related technical field with an expected graduation date in May/June 2027
- Proficiency in Python, C#, .NET, SQL or other object-oriented languages
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code and cloud services
- Exposure to various DevOps technologies in coursework or other similar experiences
- Applied technology experience through prior internships and academic projects
- Demonstrated interest in a software engineering career path
- Resourcefulness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Motivation, curiosity, enthusiasm, and passion for technology
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions and automation tools
- Contribute to building scalable applications and distributed systems
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under firm standards and leveraging AI assistants
- Ensuring applications have enterprise-grade levels of quality and testing
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Contribute to impactful projects involving data pipelines, APIs, and internal tools
- Accelerate the adoption of various technologies across teams
- Research and present findings and updates relevant to the team
