About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate will be required to hold an active government Secret security clearance.

Requirements

• Development, integration, troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.
• Experience in software development, integration, troubleshooting using Java or Python.
• Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must hold an active government Secret security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with K8s or K3s, Podman, or other containerization or orchestration technologies.
• Basic understanding of Agile Full software life-cycle development.
• Linux administration access.
• Experience with networking switches, routers, etc.
• Experience debugging the HW/SW interface.

Responsibilities

• Integrate, test, and troubleshoot and refactor software systems.
• Debug the HW/SW interface, TPMs, BIOS, etc.
