About The Position

Rilla is seeking Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) to work directly with customers, understand their challenges, and implement solutions by integrating their data with Rilla's conversational intelligence. This role is akin to a startup CTO, involving small teams or solo work, end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects, and interaction with customer executives. FDEs will extend Rilla's footprint into new markets and problem spaces, offering a unique opportunity to learn about and contribute to critical offline industries and the application of AI in the physical world. The company emphasizes a fast-paced, customer-obsessed, and learning-oriented culture in NYC.

Requirements

Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as Javascript, C++, Python, Rust, or similar languages.
Familiarity with storage and data processing systems, cloud infrastructure, and other technical tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to iterate quickly with teammates, incorporating feedback and holding a high bar for quality.
Ability and interest to travel up to 50%, as needed to client sites.
