We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to join our team and contribute to system testing at the intersection of software and hardware. This role will provide hands-on experience in establishing the tool and process that define how we test our Stretch warehouse robot throughout its development. You will help define and build the tools and infrastructure that enable hardware and software engineers on the team to run essential tests on an assortment of automated tools and systems, helping to bridge the gap between pure software testing and full-system validation. Beyond the Stretch project, this role offers a great opportunity to learn best practices in testing at Boston Dynamics, working alongside experienced colleagues on the Spot and Atlas projects. How you will make an impact: Interface with, and help write tests for, Hardware In the Loop (HIL) systems Contribute to our automation framework to improve, and scale out, our automated test coverage Work across disciplines to help define requirements and implement automated test cases Support in creating automated test stands to streamline hardware characterization. Participate in HW & SW root cause analysis efforts Help manage and maintain automation frameworks and tools
