Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Requirements

7+ years of applicable experience
Strong experience building enterprise desktop and/or web applications
Hands‑on experience with client‑side and server‑side development
Proficiency in technologies such as: Angular/React, TypeScript, JavaScript Java, .NET SQL Server
Strong experience using source control and modern build tools (for example: Git, npm, gulp, grunt)
Demonstrated commitment to producing high‑quality, well‑tested, and maintainable code
Experience applying Web Accessibility standards and best practices
Practical experience following an AI‑first SDLC, including: Using AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.) as digital engineering assistants Applying AI responsibly for code generation, refactoring, testing, debugging, and documentation
Working knowledge of AI/ML models, including: Understanding model capabilities and limitations Integrating or consuming model outputs via APIs Applying model‑driven insights responsibly within applications
Experience working in Agile project environments
Strong collaboration skills with design, QA, security, and infrastructure teams
Attention to detail and ability to deliver on established deadlines
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Effective interpersonal and communication skills for both technical and business discussions
Proven ability to manage tasks independently and contribute technical leadership within a team
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering

Responsibilities

Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Automates manual release activities
Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
