About The Position

We are seeking a Software Engineer III with expertise in Python and React to join our remote team. This role involves processing data mitigations, including pre-processing, executing mitigation pipelines, and post-processing. You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing optimization opportunities to improve processes. The role requires implementing new features on both the frontend (React) and backend (PHP or Python). Additionally, you will write and code logical and physical database descriptions, specify database identifiers, and coordinate software development with project teams to determine scope and limitations.

Requirements

• Python experience a must
• Some data management experience, e.g. SQL, process large data.
• Able to be flexible and work well in different environments with varying tasks and responsibilities
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving skills
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time
• Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
• Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Nice To Haves

• Skills on data processing and cleaning, transformation and formatting, data quality control and validation.
• Background in AI building tools

Responsibilities

• Process data mitigations: pre-processing, executing mitigation pipelines and post-processing.
• Identify optimization opportunities and improve the process.
