We are looking for a Software Engineer III to join our Mailgun Inspect team.
Inspect
helps customers test and improve email quality through preview
workflows, accessibility
checks, code analysis, link and image validation, spam testing, and reporting.

In this role, you will focus on building modern frontend experiences using React
and
TypeScript. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and
engineers to
deliver scalable, user-friendly features that help customers solve real
problems. Experience with Go and/or Node.js is a plus.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience with React and TypeScript
• Experience building single-page applications and reusable frontend components
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and modern frontend development practices
• Experience with frontend testing tools such as Cypress, Jest, or Playwright
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with data visualization libraries, observability, or monitoring tools is a plus
• Bonus points if you have experience with Go and/or Node.js

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Develop reusable and scalable UI components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-facing features
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services
• Improve performance, usability, accessibility, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement
