About The Position

Motion Industries, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer III – Supply Chain in Birmingham, AL to develop and support enterprise software written in-house to support mission critical business functions such as supplier rebates, distribution center and warehouse operations, inventory control, and field-facing branch operations functionality. Duties will include problem resolution analysis and corrections, developing new software based on approved design documents, and correcting system problems, while working as a part of an Agile development team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or its foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Tech/Systems, Engineering, or a related technology driven field.
• 5 years of experience designing and delivering solutions with Scrum/Agile development methodology & Supply Chain Technology.
• Experience in product ownership, planning, and delivery in an agile environment.
• Experience communicating to users by discussing and demonstrating working software in an effective manner.

Responsibilities
