Confiz LLC is looking for a Software Engineer III – Java in Mexico with at least 5+ years of professional experience in application development using Java and Spring Framework. Requirements
- 5+ years of professional application development experience.
- Overall Engineer Level III ( 5 to 7 years’ experience ).
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework .
- Experience designing and building REST APIs .
- Experience building and deploying software systems using AWS .
- Strong experience with Kubernetes .
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka .
- Experience with source version control systems such as GitLab or GitHub .
- Understanding of industry-standard monitoring tools such as New Relic, SCOM, or similar .
- Understanding of security protocols and standards.
- Experience working with large-scale, distributed infrastructure.
- Ability to prioritize and simplify complex technical problems while maintaining a strong focus on results.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Bias toward action guided by evidence-based decision-making.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL, complex queries, and relational databases is a plus .
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Framework.
- Design and build robust REST APIs and backend services.
- Build and deploy software systems using AWS cloud technologies.
- Work with streaming technologies such as Kafka and distributed architectures.
- Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to design and implement robust technical solutions.
- Identify performance issues and optimize solutions across large-scale distributed systems.
- Maintain a high bar for code quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Work with source version control systems such as GitLab and GitHub.
- Support application monitoring and observability using industry-standard tools such as New Relic, SCOM, or similar.
- Apply security protocols, standards, and engineering best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Prioritize and simplify technical solutions with a strong focus on delivering results.
