The One Amex platform is a collection of open-source and in-house libraries including technologies like React.js, redux, GraphQL, Jest, Webpack, Node.js, Java 8, Redis, Vert.x, Druid, Superset, and many more. It’s a suite of products where patterns have been developed for solving cross cutting concerns like security, cloud native serverless hosting, testing, internationalization, analytics, server-side rendering, CI/CD, and many more to come. Enterprise Web Intelligence team whose directive is to develop new products and platforms for American Express customers. You should be familiar with modern software development methodologies and be able to investigate and rapidly iterate on ideas despite ambiguity.
Requirements
- Familiarity with modern software development methodologies
- Ability to investigate and rapidly iterate on ideas despite ambiguity
- Experience building cloud-native services in Go and Java
- Experience enhancing front-end experiences in JavaScript
- Experience with migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions that support critical servicing and risk management platforms.
- Contribute to modernizing our applications by building cloud-native services in Go and Java, enhancing front-end experiences in JavaScript, and accelerating our migration to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, architecture, security, and SRE teams to deliver high-quality solutions that uphold American Express’ standards for reliability, performance, and data protection.
