About The Position

Own the design, delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of assigned services or feature areas within the professional discipline. Deliver operational targets with significant impact on departmental results, resolve difficult problems through detailed analysis, and communicate technical information to ensure understanding across partner teams. The role reports to our Store Support Office in Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring in-office presence Tuesday through Thursday.

Requirements

5+ years of SRE, DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience.
Experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Terraform or equivalent, GitOps, observability, incident management, and security controls.

Nice To Haves

Experience with adjacent technical disciplines relevant to the assigned engineering area.
Track record of providing training or technical guidance to other employees.

Responsibilities

Own reliability, observability, infrastructure automation, and operational readiness for assigned services or platform areas.
Conduct detailed analysis and investigation to resolve difficult reliability problems involving related systems or disciplines.
Define and manage SLOs and error budgets and lead incident response for assigned areas.
Explain operating risks and recommended changes to engineering and cross-functional partners and ensure shared understanding.
Provide technical guidance and training to associate and intermediate engineers; may delegate work and review work products.
Operate assigned platform areas independently and seek leadership guidance for broader reliability, security, financial, or architectural decisions.
