About The Position
We are seeking a Software Engineer III with a focus on Data Analysis to join our team. This role is responsible for performing quantitative analysis, scripting, and working with distributed computing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Excel, Python/R, and experience with Unix/Linux systems. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and initiate projects with minimal guidance, while also communicating technical information to diverse audiences.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in quantitative analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative or Technical field.
- Experience with SQL, Excel, and data analysis.
- Experience with Python/R scripting.
- Experience with distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop).
- Experience with Unix/Linux.
- Experience initiating and driving projects to completion with minimal guidance.
- Experience working cross-functionally and communicating technical content to general audiences.
