About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our team! The Software Engineer will implement access control and permission solutions that secure critical High-Performance Computing (HPC) system resources, developing authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems in a Linux environment using Python and Rust, while ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI + FS Polygraph
• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity OR Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash/Python) to automate tasks and processes
• Recent software development experience using Python
• Recent software development experience using Rust
• Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
• Experience developing authentication protocols, authorization logic, access control lists, and permissions for HPC systems in a Linux environment
• Basic Linux systems administration including User and Group Management
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Nice To Haves

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
