About The Position

The Software Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems that support business objectives. This role works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while contributing to the ongoing improvement of development processes, application performance, and system reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Working knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Familiarity with source control tools such as Git.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Experience with CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes.
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized environments.
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
Exposure to automated testing frameworks and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to gather and define technical requirements.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
Participate in software design reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and system testing.
Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in development, test, and production environments.
Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with senior engineers to implement scalable and secure solutions.
Assist in optimizing application performance and reliability.
Maintain technical documentation related to software design, development, and support.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
