About The Position
Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our growing team! This role supports a mission-critical software development effort at Ft. Meade. The successful candidate will design, develop, and test software in a Linux environment using modern, container-based workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 14+ years of software engineering experience, or 18+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a full-scope polygraph
- Experience with object-oriented programming language constructs
- Experience with Linux operating systems (RHEL preferred)
- Experience developing with interpreted languages, such as Python
- Strong foundation in test-driven development (TDD) practices
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman, K8s, Helm charts)
Nice To Haves
- Experience with the Go programming language and concurrent/parallel processing patterns
- Experience with TypeScript and the Angular framework for web application development
- Experience with stream processing systems (Kafka, Redis Streams, AMQP, Redpanda Connect/Benthos)
- Excellent customer relations skills, including managing requirements for feature requests
- Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and concepts (AWS preferred)
- Experience with agentic development workflows and AI-assisted coding tools
- Familiarity with the Atlassian suite of tools for project management (Jira, Confluence)
