Software Engineer II
About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client. This is a remote, 6-month contract position. The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting applications throughout the software development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining solutions using C#/.NET 10, Blazor/MudBlazor, and SQL Server, supporting application modernization and migration to Microsoft Azure, and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure using Terraform. The position also requires performing troubleshooting, debugging, data migration, ETL, and application integration, collaborating with business and technology teams in an Agile/Scrum environment, and maintaining technical documentation while participating in scheduled on-call and production support.
Requirements
- Associate degree and 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or 7 years of combined higher education and/or work experience, including 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience with C#/.NET 10, Blazor/MudBlazor, GitLab CI/CD, Azure development, and Terraform.
- Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, data migration, ETL, and Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and adapt to changing priorities.
