About The Position

Klaviyo is hiring a Software Engineer II for its Mobile App Growth team, which builds and maintains the mobile SDKs and related products that help customers create personalized experiences for mobile app users. The role is primarily focused on Android development with Kotlin, while also contributing as needed to the team’s iOS, React Native, Expo, and Flutter SDKs and to backend services, infrastructure, and embedded web interfaces. The team’s adjacent products include in-app messaging, universal linking, geofencing, and new work such as mobile inbox. The position is open to fully remote work within the United States and may involve up to 10% travel, coordinated in advance. The engineer will design, build, ship, and maintain Android SDK features used across third-party apps, devices, and operating-system versions. They will also help diagnose customer-reported issues, collaborate across product and engineering teams to keep platform behavior consistent, and contribute to code quality, reviews, documentation, sample apps, and integration guides. The role calls for an Android-first engineer with production experience who can work independently, take ownership of outcomes, and adapt to other areas of the team’s technical surface area. The base salary range for US locations is $116,000–$174,000 USD. Total compensation may also include an annual cash bonus, equity, sign-on payments, and eligible health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits. The specific salary or OTE range for a preferred location can be provided by a recruiter.

  • Ability to debug across a wide range of devices, OS versions, and third-party app environments.
