About The Position

Within our Business Services vertical, we offer a multitude of solutions focused on helping businesses of all sizes drive higher revenue growth, maximize operational efficiencies, and improve customer experience. Our solutions help our customers solve difficult problems in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing, Identity Authentication & Verification, Fraud and Credit Risk mitigation and Customer Data Management. We are seeking a Junior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps Engineer to help improve the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency of our cloud-based and on‑premise systems. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in Linux, cloud platforms, and automation who is eager to grow deeper SRE and DevOps expertise while working alongside senior engineers. You will contribute to system automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response while supporting development teams in delivering highly reliable services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Systems Engineering roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform (optional: AWS).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Basic to intermediate experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred).
  • Scripting skills in at least one language (Bash, Python, or similar).
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, HTTP, DNS, and load balancing concepts.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Cloud-native equivalents).

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to SRE concepts such as SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
  • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Helm, or equivalents).
  • Basic understanding of security practices, secrets management, and access controls.
  • Experience supporting production systems with uptime and performance requirements.
  • Cloud certifications (optional but a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Assist in managing and monitoring production and non‑production environments.
  • Help implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or similar.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to improve system observability.
  • Work closely with application development teams to improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Contribute to runbooks, documentation, and operational best practices.
  • Assist with cloud resource management, cost optimization, and security best practices.
  • Participate in on‑call rotations with guidance from senior SREs (as applicable).
