About The Position

As a Software Engineer II at LVT, you will play a critical role as part of a team of talented software engineers working on Self-Service Administration experiences to empower our customers to quickly and easily use our product. You will be responsible for writing high-quality code, contributing to software design discussions, and collaborating closely with your team to deliver impactful features.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional full-stack or front-end development experience.
  • Solid hands-on experience working with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and NestJS.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a comfort level tackling technical challenges and working with existing codebases.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills, with an eagerness to learn from senior peers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and familiarity with related tools and processes.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with or strong enthusiasm for working with Docker, containerization, and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality software that creates value for customers and meets product and engineering requirements.
  • Take ownership to ship your code into production and collaborate with QA, DevOps, SecOps and other teams to ensure a timely and reliable release of your software.
  • Be proactive about clarity. When feature requirements or edge cases are unclear, actively work with product managers and senior engineers to clarify and document them.
  • Ensure your software is reliable and performant by writing automated tests (unit/integration), logging metrics, and utilizing dashboards and alerts to monitor your features in production.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, share knowledge with your peers, and embrace modern software engineering methodologies and technologies.
  • Collaborate across teams to achieve shared quality and product goals.
  • Stay on the lookout for ways to streamline workflows, improve code quality, and help optimize processes within your team.
