About The Position

As a Software Engineer II at Indeed, you will contribute to the development and evolution of software systems that support core products and services used by people around the world. You’ll work on improving existing platforms while also helping shape next-generation solutions as Indeed continues to scale globally. We are looking for a Software Engineer II to build and improve our AI Job Management product — an agentic system that researches hiring difficulty, recommends budgets, and integrates with the Talent Scout conversational platform. You will work across the full stack, from LLM-powered agents and evaluation frameworks to the APIs that put AI-driven insights in front of employers. In this role, you will own meaningful features end-to-end — improving the cost, latency, and quality of Job Deep Research, hardening budget proposal logic with LLM-based decision-making, and building conversational experiences within Talent Scout. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners on one of Indeed's top-priority employer initiatives directly tied to revenue growth. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and data partners to translate requirements into well-designed, maintainable software. You’ll participate in technical discussions, contribute to design decisions within your team, and continuously build your skills while solving meaningful, real-world problems.
