LuminizeSan Diego, CA
Onsite

About The Position

At Luminize, we help brands win. As one of the top 5 Amazon sellers in the US, our physical operations are as critical as our digital ones. We're looking for a Software Engineer II to help maintain and evolve our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You'll play a hands-on role supporting the platform that powers our warehouse workflows, shipping, and inventory tracking — and contribute directly to modernizing it for the future.

Requirements

  • 3+ years building full-stack systems in production environments (GCP familiarity a plus).
  • Solid hands-on experience with Node.js / TypeScript and PostgreSQL (schema design, migrations, and query optimization).
  • Ability to build and maintain responsive web UIs with React across various devices.
  • Some experience contributing to legacy system refactoring, modernization, or migration efforts in a production codebase.
  • Familiarity with WMS, ERP applications, or fulfillment logistics is a plus — curiosity about operational systems is a must.
  • Exposure to cloud environments and modern data tools like BigQuery or Snowflake is a bonus.
  • A collaborative, detail-oriented mindset — comfortable working through loosely defined requirements and asking the right questions to get unblocked.
