About The Position

This is an incredible opportunity for a Software Engineer II join Apex's Accounts Engineering team in Austin, Texas. The team is responsible for supporting the account management needs of Apex Fintech Solutions’ clients. The product strives to be the de facto account management platform for asset custody, and has touchpoints with nearly every other product space at Apex. Our platform will empower all technology companies to onboard, maintain, and safeguard a diverse chart of accounts serving all sectors.

Requirements

BA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (or related prior work experience) required
3+ years of experience as a software engineer or similar role.
Proven experience in Java; Other additional modern languages a plus (Go, Kotlin, Python, C#, etc.).
Experience with relational databases and ability to write SQL
Strong sense of ownership & personal accountability.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn new technologies (languages, tools, frameworks) quickly.

Nice To Haves

Experience with no-SQL DBs like MongoDB a plus.
Experience with Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Google Pub/Sub is a plus.
Experience with Terraform is a plus.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform / Amazon Web Services is a strong plus.
Experience with Kubernetes and/or Docker is a plus.
Financial services background is a plus.
