The Pricing Team owns the technical components that allow all products at Adyen to be priced. Commercial users interact with Pricing’s products to create and sign deals, Support uses our products to answer merchant questions about their pricing, and the rest of the Adyen platform relies on us to receive up-to-date, contractually accurate, and performant data on how every single event running through our system should be priced. The work we are doing is truly central to Adyen’s ability to generate revenue and we are making a significant and principled investment into new and improved services to support Adyen’s and our merchants’ growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the software development industry
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Experience with Java, Web Services, REST APIs, SQL/PostgreSql
- Good understanding of Software Engineering practices and interest in product knowledge
- Familiarity with complex large scale distributed systems
- Value involving other people to hear different perspectives

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the team’s ideas, and bring your own point of view on engineering best practices
- Identify and improve parts of the platform to make it more robust and scalable
- Bring live functionalities that impact many merchants and shoppers within the first few weeks
- Collaborate across teams and time zones to get projects over the finish line

- The annual base salary range for this role is $154,000 - $200,000
