About The Position

As a Software Engineer I on our team, you will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and verification of our embedded software solutions. You will develop your skills with software application tools and languages such as Rust, C ++, and Python. You will impact the team positively by demonstrating your ability to implement and test software solutions. You will have opportunities to learn about cryptography, waveform & networking protocols, embedded devices, DevSecOps, command & control, project engineering.

Requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable working with C, C++, Rust, python and/or Linux
  • Some experience coding in an embedded environment
  • Security focused mindset
  • Familiar with multi-threaded and object oriented development
  • Familiar with the basics of asymmetric and symmetric encryption
