About The Position
We are seeking a Software Engineer I to design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, enterprise-grade software solutions. This role combines hands-on technical experience with driving engineering excellence, and partnering across the business to build innovative technology solutions in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field
- 1+ years of work experience in a software engineering role
- 2 plus years of experience in leading multiple discipline software engineering teams
- Experience in developing enterprise grade software in lending, payments, or related financial services
- Experience in one or more software languages: Java, Python, Node.js
- Experience in cloud related technologies such as AWS, Docker, OpenShift, EC2
- Experience in the web related technologies (Web applications, micro services and Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
- Experience in building secure application from ground up.
- Adept at working in Agile teams, exposure to SAFE preferred

Responsibilities
- Design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, enterprise-grade software solutions.
- Drive engineering excellence.
- Partner across the business to build innovative technology solutions.
- Build and maintain fault-tolerant, scalable backend services (Java or Node.js).
- Construct enterprise-grade APIs using state-of-the-art techniques and best practices (REST, JSON, XML, etc.).
- Contribute to the development of peers by providing mentorship and support.
