About The Position

The Software Engineer I is responsible for building tools required to help organizations succeed with Apple. Work closely with the agile team to learn the appropriate designs and practices to build Jamf products. Collaborate with experienced Engineers, Product Management and leadership to understand priorities and how those help us solve problems. This role if offered as remote in Minneapolis, MN; Eau Claire, WI; or Austin, TX metro areas. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications for those based in one of these locations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience developing enterprise grade software with understanding of testing and quality assurance processes (Required).
  • Minimum of 1 year of demonstrated experience in Python or other relevant programming languages and tools based on position requirements (Required).
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven coding assistants like GitHub Copilot, Cursor, others to enhance development productivity.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers in a results driven culture.
  • Ability to adapt to changing platforms effectively.
  • Good listening skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience developing on AWS (Preferred)
  • Understanding of build systems such as AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild (Preferred)
  • 4 year / Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
