About The Position

Reflexive Concepts is seeking a skilled Software Engineer I to join our team! This role involves analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements, designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new features, and debugging existing software and correcting defects. The engineer will also integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments, develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories, and provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards. Additionally, the role includes developing or implementing algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards, assisting with developing and executing test procedures for software components, and writing or reviewing software and system documentation. The engineer will develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers, analyzing systems flow, data usage and work processes, and investigating problem areas. The role also involves serving as a team lead at the appropriate level for the software development process and modifying existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance. Finally, the engineer will design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design, and design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries.
