Konami Gaming is looking for a Software Engineer I (SDE/NOC) to join their team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, deploying/supporting, and testing software for the platform. Key duties include designing and developing software, troubleshooting and bug fixing in development, test, and production environments, building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, and automating internal processes. The position also involves supporting system, network, and game installations (onsite and remote), generating procedures and documentation, and working with customers to maintain daily casino operations. This role requires moderate supervision and adherence to company policies. The engineer will analyze software requirements, participate in software system design, write software features and documentation, review code, and follow test procedures. Operations support includes software deployment, server setup, and responding to service interruptions, which may be performed onsite or remotely. The role also involves developing software tools and integrations to support game/platform development, collaborating with various teams to ensure product quality, reporting discrepancies to management, and providing release documentation. Compliance with regulatory guidelines and corporate policies, as well as maintaining confidentiality, is essential. Comfort with AI-assisted development is expected, with engineers needing to effectively use AI tools for productivity improvements while validating AI-generated recommendations and maintaining ownership of the final solution. All other duties as assigned.
