Requirements
- 1-3 Years of experience in modeling and simulation for complex aerospace missions.
- 2-3 years working in C++ and Python.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented software development practices.
- Ability to understand new challenges quickly, formulate a plan, get buy-in, and execute.
- Understanding complex distributed systems, and how the components you design and deliver will fit into those larger systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- BS in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or closely related STEM field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience simulating in 6-DOF relative motion and RPOC.
- Contributed to previous digital twin efforts.
- Working knowledge in at least one subsystem such as GNC, Flight Dynamics, EPS, Propulsion, etc.
- Previous experience in simulation frameworks such as Basalisk, STK, GMAT.
- Working knowledge of distributed compute frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Help create models and simulations for cross-domain uses.
- Learn how to convert data sheets into code.
- Aid the team in creating an AI&T testing tool suite to assist in SITL testing.
- Maintain and create the coding environment.
- Verify models and simulations against hardware.
