About The Position

North Point Technology is seeking a Software Developer to join the GEOINT Visualization Services (GVS) platform team. The role involves developing and maintaining full-stack components of a secure, cloud-native, containerized geospatial platform. The position is less than 50% remote. The ideal candidate possesses strong full-stack engineering skills, thrives in a SAFe scrum team environment, and is passionate about delivering innovative geospatial tools to support critical missions.

Requirements

Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance to start.
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Angular / TypeScript development.

Nice To Haves

TS/SCI preferred.
AngularJS to Angular migration experience.
Proven SAFe / Agile Release Train experience.
RxJS / observable expertise.
Experience applying OGC geospatial standards (WMS, WFS, Tile Services).
Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Back-end API development (Java / Python).
PostgreSQL, AWS, and Red Hat Linux.
Git / open-source contributions, peer code review, and unit testing frameworks.
Security+ (or DoD 8140-equivalent) certification - ability to obtain required, current certification preferred.
