About The Position

Loop is the data platform for the global supply chain, using AI to structure chaotic data from PDFs, emails, and legacy systems to automate payments and audits for Fortune 100 companies. This New Grad Program is designed to accelerate learning by immersing engineers in production AI systems from Day 1, solving real customer problems. The program involves shipping code to production in Week 1, delivering entry-level projects over the first three months, rotating onto different high-impact teams (Platform, Core Product, Commercial, Special Projects) for the next six months, and aiming for Mid-Level Engineer performance by Month 9, with potential for immediate promotion.

Requirements

Graduating with a BS or higher in STEM fields; available to start full-time in 2026.
Working in person in the SF or Chicago office 4 days a week.
Proficiency with modern tech stack; able to deliver a modern web app in hours.
Ability to unblock yourself and deliver high-quality products and business impact despite ambiguity.
Strong intuition on how LLMs work, their strengths, and weaknesses.
Experience with AI-native tools such as Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, etc.

Responsibilities

Ship critical infrastructure and manage real-world logistics and financial data for large enterprises.
Build deep context through customer calls to understand Loop's value and push back on requirements if a better solution is identified.
Work across system boundaries, including frontend UX, LLM agents, database schema, and event infrastructures.
Leverage AI tools to handle boilerplate tasks, focusing on quality, architecture, and product taste.
Optimize dev loops, refactor legacy patterns, automate workflows, and fix broken processes to increase velocity.
