About The Position

Custral is building a unified workspace for the entire customer lifecycle, from marketing and sales to onboarding, success, and product feedback. Unlike traditional CRMs that fragment post-deal activities across multiple tools, Custral consolidates everything into a single platform, allowing teams to work from shared customer records. The platform enables users to customize objects, views, and workflows to match their specific processes. It also integrates AI agents directly into the data model for enhanced functionality and control, with an assistant named Stella that operates within the same records and seeks confirmation before taking action. The company is in its early stages and is gradually onboarding new teams.

Requirements

Deep fluency in TypeScript and its application across the full stack.
Experience building and maintaining full-stack products end to end.
Strong skills in React for front-end development and Node/Express for back-end development.
Significant experience with Postgres, including data modeling, migrations, and performance optimization of queries.
Ability to conduct independent research and drive work forward without constant direction.
Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Redis for caching, queues, or real-time features.
Familiarity with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
Experience with Electron or React Native.
Experience building with AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

Build the product end to end using TypeScript across the stack.
Develop front-end components with React and Next.js, and back-end services with Node and Express.
Manage data persistence with Postgres through Sequelize, and utilize Redis, OpenSearch, and AWS.
Contribute to desktop applications using Electron and mobile applications using Expo, all from the same monorepo.
Take ownership of problems from identification to shipping, including design, implementation, and iteration based on user feedback.
Contribute to product strategy and direction, not just implementation details.
Address operational tasks such as code scanning, dependency hygiene, and audit preparation for SOC 2 compliance.
Work on onboarding flows, including import and provisioning.
Develop integrations with third-party providers and the underlying shared layer.
Enhance core product features, focusing on objects, views, tables, and workflows for speed and usability.
