About The Position

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer to support a premier Intelligence Community program. This role requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with the ability to successfully pass a Polygraph examination. In this position, you will design, develop, integrate, and maintain mission-critical software applications that enable customers to solve complex operational challenges. You will work within an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions across the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Scrum Master experience supporting a software development or similar technical team
• Web development using Django, jQuery, Ajax, and REST APIs
• Object-oriented programming in Python, Java, and JavaScript
• Relational database development using SQL and PostgreSQL
• Development on Windows and Linux operating systems
• Version control using Git and GitLab
• GEOINT domain experience applied to troubleshooting, optimizing, and validating system behavior and data outputs
• Software architecture, development, and delivery of complex systems into production
• Agile development methodologies and CI/CD tools and practices
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a Polygraph
• US citizenship required per contract

• Front-end development using React
• Client-Server and Model-View-Controller software architecture patterns
• Multi-cloud architecture experience across AWS, IBM, Google Cloud, and Azure
• AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CloudFormation, and RDS
• AWS DevOps Engineer certification or similar cloud certification

Responsibilities

• Resolve tasks as prioritized by the product owner
• Take ownership of delivering enhancements within systems and applications
• Break down sizable tasks into manageable units with level-of-effort estimations
• Collaborate with fellow engineers to create and document technical designs
• Build software solutions in ambiguous problem spaces
• Serve as Scrum Master by facilitating Scrum events and ensuring Agile processes and best practices are followed across the development team
