About The Position

In this role, you’ll support a critical High Performance Computing environment that enables analysts and operators to securely access and manage shared compute resources at scale. You’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team building and sustaining a modern, containerized platform that directly supports mission execution. This work sits squarely within Intelliforce’s core strengths, secure software engineering, Linux systems, and scalable infrastructure that performs under real-world operational demands. Schedule and Work Details Location: NBP 135 Schedule: Full-time, with up to 16 hours of telework per week as permitted by the program Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required. We do not sponsor clearances. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We do not sponsor visas. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include You’ll design, build, and maintain a full-stack web application used to manage access to HPC resources in a large, multi-tenant Kubernetes environment. Your work will include developing REST APIs, building intuitive user interfaces, and automating system tasks that keep the platform reliable and secure. You’ll collaborate with system engineers and users to translate requirements into working solutions, troubleshoot issues in production environments, and continuously improve performance, scalability, and usability. Minimum Qualifications Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. Education and Experience One of the following is required: • Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 3 years of Software Engineering experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 5 years of Software Engineering experience • 7 years of Software Engineering experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity Experience must include development in Unix or Linux environments. Full Technology Stack This role works across Linux-based systems and containerized platforms using Python, Bash, JavaScript, React, FastAPI, SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, Docker and Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, Git, and supporting cloud services and authentication frameworks where appropriate. Requirements

  • Strong experience working in Linux environments using CLI and system tools
  • Bash scripting to automate manual or repetitive processes
  • Full-stack web development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React
  • Recent software development experience using Python
  • Designing and developing REST APIs using FastAPI
  • SQL database experience with MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL
  • Containerization experience with Docker, Podman, or containerd
  • Kubernetes experience, including deploying and managing services
  • Experience creating and managing Helm charts
  • Git source control and collaborative development workflows

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with OpenID or OAuth authentication protocols
  • Experience working with AWS cloud services
  • Experience using Jupyter Notebooks
