About The Position

i22 Digitalagentur is a digital agency that has grown through many technological changes, always adapting to what companies truly need. They rarely work on greenfield projects, instead focusing on projects within established organizations with existing systems, processes, dependencies, and people. A significant part of their work involves building solutions that function within this complexity. Their portfolio includes AI Content Studio for scalable content systems, Agentic Commerce & Transaction for future purchasing methods, AI Assistance & Customer Service for automated service resolution, Agentic Knowledge & Learning for making knowledge usable, and Agentic Transformation for clarifying necessary processes and structures. Technology, including AI, is constantly evolving and integrated into their analysis, development, and operations, with human decision-making, context, and responsibility remaining central. Their standard for work remains high: a good concept is insufficient if it cannot be implemented, and a go-live is not enough if the system doesn't sustain itself afterward. They operate in three phases: Design/Discovery (clarifying needs), Build (creating functional solutions under real conditions), and Operate (managing post-launch responsibilities). The specific tasks depend on the role and focus area, but the core remains solving real problems with diverse perspectives, existing systems, and the responsibility to bring ideas to fruition. Their consistency is reflected in a team willing to continuously observe, question, and build.

Requirements

  • Agentic Engineering: AI agents are an integral part of your engineering workflow, including context, tools, review loops, and clear responsibility for what goes live.
  • Technical Depth: Very good knowledge in at least one of the areas Frontend, Backend, or Fullstack, and the ability to work beyond your own technical discipline.
  • Solution Design & Customer Context: Ability to assess and recommend technical options based on effort, benefit, feasibility, and risks; as a Senior: designing solutions directly with the customer.
  • Technical Leadership: Sharing knowledge within the team and in reviews; as a Senior: technically empowering other engineers and creating reusable assets.

  • Developing production-ready solutions with AI agents, verifying every relevant change, and taking responsibility for agent-generated code, including existing systems and new AI applications.
  • Ensuring systems run stably after go-live, making their impact visible, and orienting further development based on actual performance.
  • Taking responsibility for technical solutions from problem understanding to productive operation.
  • Ensuring the quality and release of what goes live, regardless of whether the code is generated by oneself, other developers, or agents.
  • Building maintainable, tested, and traceable systems.
  • Making technical decisions within engineering standards.
  • Ensuring security, stability, and troubleshooting in live operations.
