As a Software Engineer Expert within PNC's C&IB Payments organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX. Role Overview: The Software Engineer Expert will lead a team within the C&IB Payments Technology organization, overseeing the design, development, and delivery of Java-based applications supporting enterprise payment platforms.

Responsibilities

Manage and develop a team of software engineers, including performance management and career development
Lead Agile delivery processes and ensure alignment with organizational standards
Oversee full software development lifecycle execution
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
Ensure adherence to architecture standards, security practices, and compliance requirements
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery outcomes
Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions for a major business segment.
Leads and guides the development and implementation of multiple, complex, organization-wide systems.
Develops strategies on all phases of software engineering life cycle using agile methods.
Advises on more complex software procedures and products and leads complex problem solving for a major business segment.
Provides solutions or recommendations on complicated technology issues for application development and implementation.
Provides guidance, training, and technical support to engineers on software design, development, testing and implementation.
