About The Position

Assists with the design, development, test, debugging and maintenance of software that is integrated into embedded devices and systems and meets industry, customer, safety and regulation standards. Gathers information to review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into the design of software products for embedded devices and systems. Assists with building and writing code for embedded systems software to run on specific specialized hardware. Participates in integrating embedded software with hardware components. Aids in analyzing, monitoring and improving the efficiency and stability of embedded software systems. Provides information to test and debug software for embedded devices and systems. Assists with implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development and hardware technologies. Assists with tracking and evaluation of internal and supplier software team performance to ensure product and process compliance to project plans and industry standards. Gathers information to perform embedded software project management functions.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
