About The Position

The Developer Experience team is part of Moveworks' Platform organization and focuses on building products and platforms for developers working within Moveworks customer environments. These developers build on top of the Moveworks Agentic AI platform. The team's goal is to increase the supply of integrations and high-quality skills and workflows, which in turn increases value for employees using the assistant. The team emphasizes building platforms first, then products on top. Software Engineers on this team work across the full stack, from backend services to web UIs, and are responsible for features end-to-end, from design to production. They are expected to have a strong sense of developer experience, attention to detail in UI and API design, and the ability to move fast without compromising quality. The ideal candidate is technically strong, fast, and focused on creating products that developers love to use, thereby raising the quality bar for the team.

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience with meaningful full-stack product work.
Strong frontend fundamentals, including React (or equivalent), component architecture, state management, and an eye for UI quality and interaction design.
Solid backend engineering fundamentals, including REST API design, service communication, and data modeling.
Experience with Python and/or Go for backend development.
Product sense and UX instinct; ability to think about the end-user's experience.
Speed and ownership: ability to take a fuzzy problem, make it concrete, and ship a solution with minimal supervision.
Strong communication skills across product, design, and engineering.

Nice To Haves

Experience building developer tooling, SDKs, documentation platforms, or other developer-facing products.
Exposure to agentic AI products or LLM-powered features.
Eye for design, including Figma fluency or the ability to contribute to design decisions beyond just implementation.

Responsibilities

Build end-to-end product features across the full stack, including React web UIs, backend APIs, and the services that connect them.
Own developer-facing product surfaces such as IDE-like tooling, configuration UIs, onboarding flows, debugging and observability interfaces, and agentic developer tools.
Contribute to the platform services that products depend on, understanding the underlying systems and being able to delve deeper when necessary.
Apply strong UX and design sensibility to all shipped work, considering layout, interaction, information hierarchy, and developer ergonomics.
Move fast by prototyping quickly, validating with developers, iterating, and shipping high-quality production code.
Collaborate directly with product, design, and ML engineers to define product direction.
Identify and address rough edges in the developer experience, even if they are not on the current roadmap.
