About The Position

Hightouch is seeking a product-minded backend engineer for its Customer Studio team. This role involves diving deep into backend and distributed systems, focusing on architecture, scalability, maintainability, and reliability. The engineer will also contribute to product specifications and address challenges related to data warehouse performance, analytics and experimentation, real-time audience syncing, and generative AI. This is a senior role, emphasizing impact and growth potential over years of experience.

Optimize data warehouse performance through query optimization and pre-computed state storage.
Investigate warehouse-specific improvements.
Develop features for customer segmentation and data syncing.
Facilitate experimentation and track the performance of different audiences.
Explore real-time audience computation and syncing, leveraging technologies like CDC.
Enhance user workflows using generative AI.
Write and engage with product specifications.
Design and architect backend and distributed systems.
Ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of systems.
